Article 1 (Personal Information Collected)
SajuKemi processes the information needed to calculate saju, compare you and another person safely, and show results only to the people you select. Birth information is treated as personal information essential to the service. You can use the basic service without selecting items that are not required. You must not enter another person's birth information on their behalf.However, in the Our Family feature, a legal representative who has completed the parental consent process below may register information about a child.
Processing our children’s information
- A child who was under 14 at the time of initial registration may be registered only when the logged-in legal representative has completed consent to the processing of the child’s information. Consent records from the registration screen are retained together with the child protection policy. No child account is created.
- We use your display name, calendar type, date of birth, gender, optional birth time, and calculated Saju for providing child tendencies, parent–child chemistry, and today’s harmony fortune. We do not send your name, account identifier, or the original birth information to AI; we provide structured Saju facts, age range, and whether the birth time is unknown.
- Only children selected by the registered guardian can be viewed together with an invited spouse, and the guardian must approve the spouse’s request to participate. The spouse cannot view or edit the original child birth information. Joint chemistry between the spouse and child is provided only after the spouse gives separate consent.
- The child is not included in friend searches, regular chemistry rooms, the chemistry map, or public sharing. Personal information and original text on the family screen are not recorded in analysis events or general logs.
- Turning off sharing blocks the other person’s access. If a child is deleted or a managing guardian leaves, the child’s birth information, calculated results, and sharing connection are deleted together and are not automatically transferred to the spouse. Existing children are not automatically deleted or made to create an account based on age alone. Withdrawal of consent and requests concerning data-subject rights are handled separately.
Consent to use the existing service does not substitute for consent to register a child or jointly share with a spouse.
- Guest or logged in: We use guest or member identifiers, session cookies, login-provider connection information, and display names to maintain sessions, connect guest data, and manage accounts.
- Enter Saju information: We use the calendar system, date of birth, gender, selected birth time or indication that the time is unknown, the time zone used for calculation, and calculation settings for saju calculations and personal fortune and chemistry results.
- Optional life context: Information selected by the user, such as current relationship status and work or employment status, is used only to adjust their personal saju interpretation and today’s message to their current situation.
- Get-to-know-me selection: MBTI is saved on my screen only when the user selects it directly. It is not inferred from saju or birthday, and is not used for the other person, public results, or AI.
- Relationship · sharing: We use invitations, participation, friends, room membership, visibility settings, relationship period, withdrawal and blocking status, and user-created public summaries for relationship results and sharing features.
- Android push: We use the installation identifier, Expo push token, operating environment, platform and app version, OS notification permission and receipt settings, and delivery status to manage delivery, duplicate prevention, and failures for notifications enabled by the user.
- Automatically generated/collected: We use service access times, error and performance information, browser, device, and request information, cookies and consent status, and analytics events for security, incident response, and quality improvement.
Article 2 (Purpose of Using Personal Information)
- We calculate the original chart, day pillar, and Five Elements from the Saju information you entered, and provide personal fortune, daily fortune, and chemistry results.
- We retain guest sessions and member accounts and process the invitations, friends, rooms, and relationship periods requested by the user.
- Within the scope permitted by the user, character and Five Elements summaries and chemistry results are shown to the other person.
- The selected life context and MBTI are used only on your personal screen. This information is not used for chemistry scores, room results, or public cards, and MBTI is not sent to the AI for interpretation.
- We send notifications enabled in the Android app and stop sending them when you log out, withdraw, or change your token.
- We operate the service safely, check for errors and performance, and reflect consent, withdrawal, and deletion requests.

Article 3 (Saju Calculation and AI Interpretation)
The service’s deterministic calculation engine handles the Saju calculations, while AI is used to interpret the calculated structure in easy-to-read sentences.
Instead of the original date-of-birth and birth-time information, we provide the AI provider with structured saju facts required for calculation. Your personal interpretation may include, where necessary, gender, whether you know your birth time, your current fortune flow, and the life context selected by you.
Kemi interpretation uses calculation results such as the two people’s permitted day pillars, relationship indicators, and scores, and does not include names in the prompt. Selected lifestyle context is not used for the Kemi score or the results disclosed to the other person.
We configure OpenAI Responses API requests not to be stored. The AI operational records retained by SajuKemi contain only minimal information, such as the model, token usage, latency, and success/failure status; the original prompt and AI response text are not recorded in general logs or analytics events. The AI provider’s processing and retention policies also apply.
Article 4 (Information Disclosed to Partners, Friends, and Rooms)
Sharing is limited based on the relationship and the settings selected by the user. Personal friend relationships and room participation are separate permissions, and joining a room does not automatically make personal chemistry public.
- Guest data: If there is no activity for 30 days after the last visit, we automatically organize the related profiles, saju, and results.
- You can change character display, allow friend chemistry, and visibility settings in Settings. After blocking, withdrawing consent, or ending a relationship, no new views will be allowed.
- The Room·Chemistry Map displays only the character and Five Elements summaries allowed within the room’s scope and relationship results. Personal information and original birth information from outside the room are not disclosed.
- Public links may be forwarded. The service cannot retrieve copies that someone who has viewed them has captured or saved separately.
- Public links and results may become unavailable based on whichever occurs first: expiration, revocation, the end of the relationship, or retention cleanup.
Article 5 (Provision to Third Parties and Entrusted Processing)
SajuKemi uses the external services below to the extent necessary to provide the service. The information transmitted and the scope of processing by each provider differ by feature, and the policies and contracts of external providers may also apply.
- Supabase: We process service-stored information and requests, including account, profile, saju, relationship, and result information, for authentication, sessions, and database/server functions.
- OpenAI: We process the structured saju and relationship facts and optional lifestyle context needed to generate AI saju and chemistry text. Original birth information is not transmitted.
- Vercel · Hosting: To provide the web application and run the server, we may process technical information necessary for operations, such as page requests, browser and device information, and errors.
- PostHog: After confirming current service consent, we process permitted product and error-analysis events and service identifiers. We do not include original birth information, natal charts, push tokens, or notification content in analytics properties.
- Google Analytics 4: When configured in the deployment environment, we process visit statistics such as page path, referral source, and device and browser information. Entered birth information is not intentionally transmitted.
- Expo Push Service: To send Android notifications, we process the installation identifier, push token, platform information, and a general notification payload. Birth information, the original saju chart, and detailed scores are not included.
- Kakao · Google: We process the authentication and consent scope of the social login selected by the user. Each provider's own privacy policy also applies.

Article 6 (Retention Period and Deletion)
The period below is SajuKemi's standard basis for organizing service data. If retention is required by law, the data may be stored separately for the required period, and the retention periods of external providers are governed by their respective policies.
- Member data: We retain the information while your account remains active. If you withdraw through Settings, we delete your birth information, saju, chemistry data, and room participation, though only the necessary expired status may remain on the other person's screen.
- Derived result: Personal fortunes, today's fortune, and chemistry results are organized based on the current date in Korea. Chemistry map snapshots are managed for up to 7 days, while daily results are managed primarily for the current day.
- Relationship · public link: We stop detailed viewing at whichever comes first among withdrawal, blocking, the end of the relationship period, or link expiration, and organize expired relationship and shared data.
- Push delivery history: Completed delivery operation records are retained for up to 30 days and then organized. Delivery stops upon logout, account withdrawal, device disconnection, or token replacement.
Article 7 (User Rights and Choices)
The child or their lawful representative can, without signing up or logging in Request rights regarding child information You can submit requests for correction, deletion, or suspension of processing at . The reply email address and the details of your request will be used for submission, and your request will be processed after the requester’s identity is verified as necessary.
- You can review and change your display name, visibility settings, permission for friend chemistry, optional life context, and push notification settings in Settings. You can change or delete your MBTI on the personal Get to Know Me screen.
- Member Settings screen You can request account deletion from . Deleting it will also remove the connected birth information and service data.
- Birth time, life context, and MBTI are optional fields. You can leave them blank or disable them on your personal screen.
- You can decline or withdraw consent for features that require analysis consent. Even if you turn off analysis, processing necessary to provide the service, such as login and Saju calculation, may continue.
- If you need to make a separate request, such as for access, correction, or suspension of processing, please use the contact and redress information in Article 10.
Article 9 (Processing Principles for Protecting Personal Information)
- Birth information and the complete natal chart are stored as personal data. On public screens, we use only safe projections of the character, Five Elements, and results.
- Other people's data is calculated and accessed only after their relationship, consent, and sharing scope have been verified on the server.
- Only the minimum information necessary to operate the service is retained in analysis, error, and AI operation logs; the original prompt and response text and sensitive birth information are not recorded.
- We operate reasonable protective measures, such as transmission and access controls and database permission policies. However, the risks of transmission and storage over the internet cannot be completely eliminated.
