Terms of Use

Article 1 (Purpose)

These Terms are intended to establish the conditions and procedures required to use SajuKemi (the “Service”), as well as the rights, obligations, and responsibilities of users and the Service operator. The Service helps you have conversations to understand yourself and other people through Saju, fortune, and relationship-exploration content provided on the web and in the app.

Article 2 (Definitions)

1. “Service” means the features provided on the service screens, including saju calculation and interpretation, today’s fortune, 1:1 Chemistry, invitation links, friend relationships, Chemistry Rooms, Chemistry Map, sharing result cards, and app notifications.
2. “User” means a person who agrees to these Terms and uses the Service. This includes both logged-in members and guests who start their own saju without logging in.
3. “Account” means a member account connected through social login or a guest session issued by the service. Guest sessions may differ from login accounts in their retention period and scope of use.
4. “Birth information” means input information used for saju calculation, including date of birth, the solar/lunar calendar distinction, whether it is a leap month, time of birth, gender, and the display name designated by the user.
5. “Relationship result” means results for understanding a relationship between two people or among Chemistry Room participants, including scores, Chemistry types, interpretations, and practical tips.
6. “Content” means text, images, characters, calculation results, interpretations, notifications, and other materials provided by the Service. Content displayed as automatically generated or AI-based may be provided using calculation results and generative AI.

Article 3 (Effect and Amendment of the Terms)

1. These Terms take effect when they are posted on the Service screen and the user agrees to them.
2. If there are changes in service operations, security, laws or regulations, or the technical environment, the operator may amend these Terms within a reasonable scope. The changes and effective date will be posted so they can be checked on the service screen.
3. Users will be informed of important changes in an easily noticeable manner before they take effect. Users who do not agree to the amended Terms may stop using the Service and withdraw.
4. Separate from the Terms, the status of personal information processing is Privacy Policy Guidance is provided at . Merely viewing the terms does not constitute separate consent to the processing of personal information.

Article 4 (Service Agreement and Age)

1. The service agreement is formed when the user agrees to these Terms and starts a personalized feature or links an account using the method designated by the Service. The full text of these Terms can be viewed before consent is given.
2. SajuKemi is available only to people aged 14 or older. Age confirmation is based on the user's self-declaration and does not mean identity verification or a procedure that accurately proves age.
3. The user must enter their own birth information directly. They must not enter someone else’s birth information on that person’s behalf or use the Service as if they were that person. However, a legal representative who has completed the parental consent process for Our Family may register and manage information about a child who was under 14 at the time of initial registration, only within that feature. An account for the child to use the service directly is not created.
4. If the user cannot agree to these Terms, they must not use the personalization features. If the user’s age or consent status does not meet the requirements, the Service may restrict input, calculations, or participation in relationships.

Article 5 (Provision of Services)

The service is currently provided mainly around the following features.

• My Saju, Day Pillar Character, Five Elements, and Saju Interpretation
• Today's Fortune and an action hint for today
• A blind 1:1 chemistry experience where each person enters their own information and views the results together
• Friend relationships, invitation links, Kemi Rooms, and relationship results within rooms
• Sharing the Chemistry Map and result cards within the relationship scope to which you consented
• Android app push notifications selected by the user

1. The service may add, change, integrate, or discontinue all or part of its features due to changes in quality improvement efforts, operating policies, security, laws or regulations, or external technologies. Important changes will be announced in advance where possible.
2. The current service does not provide features that require separate payment. If paid features are offered in the future, their price, scope of provision, withdrawal of subscription, and refund conditions will be separately explained before payment, and will comply with the stated conditions and applicable laws.

Article 6 (Nature and Safety of Content)

SajuKemi's calculations and interpretations are reference and entertainment content based on traditional Myeongri studies, intended to support self-understanding and conversation. The service does not scientifically prove or guarantee future events, the success of a relationship, a person's worth, or any specific outcome.

Sentences automatically generated based on the calculated Saju structure and AI interpretations may vary in wording even with the same input, and may contain inaccuracies or content that differs from the user’s intent. Service results do not replace professional consultation or judgment regarding medical or health matters, legal matters, financial or investment matters, recruitment or personnel evaluation, mental health, or life and safety.

Questions intended to carry out, assist with, or encourage violence, injury, self-harm or suicide, or crime, as well as requests that violate the safety or rights of others, may receive limited answers or be refused.

Article 7 (Personal Information and Scope of Disclosure)

The service processes information entered directly by users to calculate Saju and provide personalized content. What information is needed and why, what information is used for AI interpretations and app notifications, and how it is retained and deleted Privacy Policy Detailed information is provided at .

1. Depending on the service screen and visibility settings, the other person may see your display name, day-pillar character, five-elements distribution, compatibility results, and more. Original information such as your date of birth, time of birth, age, and natal chart is not disclosed to the other person to provide relationship results.
2. When the user uses a sharing feature, the selected result summary may be included in a sharing link or card. Before sharing, check what will be made public, and do not enter unnecessary information such as your real name, phone number, or address in the name field.
3. The collection, use, retention, and deletion of personal information, as well as the exercise of users’ rights, are governed by the scope set out in the Privacy Policy.

Article 8 (Invitations, Chemistry, and Chemistry Rooms)

Our Family operates separately from regular Chemistry Rooms. The managing guardian selects the children and spouse to share with and approves participation requests, while the spouse can view only the results shared with them. The original birth information and personal-life context are not disclosed to the spouse. The spouse’s separate consent to disclosure is required for joint chemistry involving the spouse and children. The spouse cannot transfer access rights to anyone else, and either side can turn off shared viewing.

1. The recipient of the invitation link enters their own information directly on their own device. The link’s validity period, participation eligibility, and result access conditions are provided on the screen where the link is created or joined.
2. 1:1 Chemistry provides results based on the information entered separately by both participants, and once the result is complete, the service may show the relationship result to the participant designated by the service.
3. By joining a Kemi Room, you acknowledge that you have reviewed the notice that relationship results between the room’s current members may be visible to one another within the room. Joining a room is separate from adding a friend or establishing a personal one-to-one relationship.
4. The user may decline, withdraw from, or end an invitation or room participation. When a relationship ends or access permissions disappear, the Service may restrict or end access to the results and shared links.
5. The service cannot retrieve content that has already been copied, captured, or retransmitted outside the service. When sharing, you must first check with the other person how widely it may be disclosed.

Article 9 (User Obligations)

The user must not engage in the following acts.

• Entering or using another person’s birth information or account without permission, or impersonating someone else
• An act that infringes on another person’s privacy, reputation, likeness, copyright, or other rights
• Using the service’s results to discriminate against others or to make decisions about hiring, placement, evaluation, or transactions
• Entering or sharing content that promotes hatred, harassment, sexual objectification, threats, or illegal activities
• Restricting access to the service, interfering with security measures or call-volume limits, or interfering with other users’ use of the service
• Crawling, duplicating, or reselling the service; reverse-engineering it; or distributing malware or false information
• Using relationship results or a sharing link for a purpose other than the original intended purpose, thereby causing harm to the other person

Article 10 (Intellectual Property Rights)

Rights to the service’s trademarks, logos, software, characters, editorial materials, interpretive text, and other content belong to the service operator or the rightful holders. Users may use them personally within the scope permitted by these Terms and on the service screens, but may not reproduce, modify, sell, or distribute them without permission, or use them to create products similar to the service.

The user retains the rights to the information and wording they enter. However, the operator may process them to the extent necessary to provide and store the Service, display them, generate relationship results, and respond to errors. The specific scope of processing follows the Privacy Policy and the notices on each feature screen.

Article 11 (Service Suspension and Restrictions on Use)

1. The operator may temporarily suspend all or part of the service when unavoidable circumstances arise, such as server maintenance, updates, communication failures, failures of external infrastructure or AI providers, or disasters. Advance notice will be provided where possible.
2. If the user violates these Terms, applicable laws, or another person’s rights, or interferes with the safe operation of the Service, the operator may issue a warning, hide content, terminate relationships or links, restrict use, or terminate the account.
3. In cases requiring urgent security or safety measures, access may be restricted without prior notice. The operator will restore access to the extent possible once the reason for the restriction has been resolved.

Article 12 (Withdrawal and Data Processing)

If a managing guardian deletes a child or leaves, the child’s birth information, results, and sharing connection are deleted together, and management rights are not automatically transferred to the spouse. A profile is not automatically deleted or enrollment forced based on the child’s age alone. Separate consent withdrawals and rights requests are reflected.

1. Members can request account deletion in Settings. When you delete your account, the process of deleting service data linked to the account—including birth information, saju, chemistry, and room participation—will begin, and results cannot be restored using the deleted account.
2. Guest data is deleted if there is no access for 30 days after the last visit. Logging in may change the retention and account-linking conditions for the guest session.
3. After withdrawal or the end of a relationship, the other person's screen may retain only a status indicating that the relationship has ended or expired, instead of personal information. Screenshots, copies, and messages already saved outside the service are not deleted.
4. Information that must be retained by law, or the minimum records or backups needed to respond to disputes or security issues, may be stored separately until the relevant purpose and retention period have ended. For more details, Privacy Policy follows.

Article 13 (Scope of Liability)

1. To the extent permitted by applicable laws, the operator does not guarantee that the service will always be provided without interruption or that its content will be completely accurate.
2. The user is responsible for decisions made based on Service results, disputes between users, and consequences arising from information the user shares outside the Service, based on the user's own judgment and responsibility. However, this excludes damages caused intentionally or negligently by the operator and liabilities that cannot be limited under applicable laws and regulations.
3. To the extent permitted by applicable laws, the operator is not liable for damages arising from the user’s responsibility, failures of communications, devices, or external services, or force majeure.

Article 14 (Governing Law and Inquiries)

1. These Terms shall be interpreted and applied in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Korea.
2. Inquiries or disputes related to use of the service will first be addressed through the inquiry channel indicated on the service screen. Disputes that cannot be resolved will be handled by the court with jurisdiction under applicable laws.
